Terms of Use
These Terms set the rules for using Korelda. By using the app you agree to them. If you do not accept them, please stop using Korelda.
1. Who can use Korelda
Korelda is made for adults. You must be old enough to enter a binding agreement where you live, and by using Korelda you are saying that you are.
We do not ask your age and we do not collect it. Korelda is rated for a general audience in the App Store, and nothing in it is directed at children.
2. What Korelda is
Korelda is provided by Korelda Pty Ltd (ACN 702 693 776, ABN 68 702 693 776), an Australian company. “We” and “us” in these Terms mean that company.
Korelda is a tool for recording and organising your own financial information: accounts, transactions, bills, budgets and holdings. It shows you what that adds up to.
Korelda is not a bank, a broker, or a licensed adviser. Nothing in the app is personal financial, legal or tax advice, and no figure in it should be treated as a substitute for your bank's own records or professional advice.
3. Your account and your data
Using Korelda means having an account. You can sign in with Apple, with Google, or with a code sent to your email address.
What you enter is stored on your device. If you subscribe to Korelda Plus it is also stored in your account, on servers in Australia, so it is the same on every device you sign in on. The database is set up so that only your account can read your rows. You keep ownership of everything you put in.
You are responsible for keeping your sign-in secure. Delete account, under Log out in Settings, erases your account and everything in it, and that cannot be undone.
4. You are responsible for what you enter
Balances, transactions, rates and dates are yours to enter and yours to keep current. Korelda calculates from what it is given, whether that is a payoff date, a budget or a net worth figure. It cannot know whether the inputs are right.
Projections are arithmetic on your own numbers, not predictions.
5. Price information
Share and crypto prices are fetched from a public market-data endpoint so a holding can be valued. That data is provided by a third party, may be delayed, and may be wrong or unavailable. Do not rely on it for trading decisions.
6. Korelda Plus
Recording your accounts, transactions and holdings is free, and so are the budget, every chart of your own figures, and flagging a deduction. The free tier keeps two bills and five filing rules, tidies one import with AI, and shows the first two payments Korelda finds repeating.
Korelda Plus is a paid subscription that lifts those limits and adds the itemised tax report and its exports, rental schedules, car logbooks and capital gains, a payee claimed at the same share all year, tags, fresh estimates of a property's value, sync and backup across your devices, price history beyond a month on a holding's chart, and the alternative app icons.
It is sold as an auto-renewing subscription in two terms: A$9.99 for one month, or A$79.99 for one year. Prices are in Australian dollars and may differ in other countries or regions; the price you will be charged is always the one shown on the purchase screen before you confirm.
Payment is charged to your Apple Account when you confirm. The subscription renews automatically at the same price and for the same term unless you cancel at least 24 hours before the current term ends. Your Apple Account is charged for the renewal within 24 hours of the end of the term.
New subscribers get seven days free. If you cancel before the free period ends you pay nothing. Starting a paid subscription forfeits any unused part of a free period.
Manage or cancel a subscription in the Settings app on your device, under your name, then Subscriptions. There is also a shortcut to the same place in Korelda's own Settings. Deleting the app does not cancel a subscription.
Refunds are handled by Apple, not by us, under Apple's own terms.
7. Device security
Korelda is always locked with a passcode, and you can add Face ID. That protects the app, not the device. Keeping your device and its passcode secure is your responsibility.
8. Acceptable use
You must not:
- use Korelda for unlawful purposes,
- attempt to bypass its access controls,
- reverse engineer the app except where law permits.
9. Intellectual property
Korelda's code, design and branding belong to Korelda Pty Ltd or its licensors. These Terms give you a limited, non-exclusive, revocable right to use the app for your own personal use.
The marks shown against a holding or an account, and the names beside them, are the trade marks of their owners. They are used only to help you identify what is yours, and imply no endorsement or affiliation. Coin marks come from CoinGecko. Others come from Wikimedia Commons, under licences that permit redistribution. The rest are the company's own mark, taken from the company's own website and used only to identify it. Both are set out under Acknowledgements. Where there is no such mark, a ticker or a short name is drawn on a disc instead.
10. Changes and availability
Korelda may add, change or remove features in later versions. Features that depend on outside data may stop working if that data becomes unavailable.
11. No warranty
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Korelda is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind.
12. Liability limits
To the extent permitted by law, Korelda is not liable for indirect, incidental, special or consequential losses, including lost profits, lost opportunity, or lost data.
Where liability cannot be excluded, it is limited to the minimum extent the law permits.
13. Ending use
You may stop using Korelda at any time. Deleting the app removes it, and the figures kept on it, from your device. Your account remains. With Korelda Plus, signing in again brings your figures back. Without it, figures that were only on that phone are gone.
To close the account and erase what is in it, use Delete account under Log out in Settings before you delete the app.
14. Updates to these Terms
We may revise these Terms when the app changes or the law requires it. The revised version applies from the date published above.
15. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of New South Wales, Australia, unless mandatory local law requires otherwise.
16. Contact
Questions about these Terms can be sent through Talk to us in Settings.
